I went on Twitter the other day to see that I’d been nominated to do the ’73 things’ tag by a fellow blogger, Jessie Mills! I’ve wanted to do one of these type of posts for a while, so I was really excited to start once I’d been nominated. I’ve done a ‘get to know me’ themed post previously, but you can never know me too much!
Here is my version of the ’73 THINGS’ TAG –
#1. What is your usual Starbucks order?
I don’t have the star-bucks for Starbucks.
#2. What does your work station look like right now?
It’s usually tidy – I promise, but it’s a bit hectic right about now so I’ll tidy up before I go sleep.
#3. All-time favourite food?
This is hard. Can’t beat a bit of chicken and chips though, can you?
#4. Favourite Author?
Katerina Diamond, she’s my go-to crime author!
#5. What do you think of open relationships?
Each to their own, but definitely not for me.
#6. What is your favourite video game?
THE SIMS – I love making the little families, making their homes, dressing them up! *cries in childhood*
#7. Guilty Pleasure treat?
‘I’ll Have What She’s Having’ – a waffle covered in milk chocolate and strawberries from Dolci.
#8. Favourite Movie?
I really don’t watch movies like that – I’m more into shows.
#9. Favourite book?
I have far too many, but I love the Ghost Bird Series by C.L Stone.

#12. Best advice you’ve ever received?
Respect yourself or else nobody else will.

Making revision resources and scheduling posts for my blog for when I take a break!

Khaki/ olive green

I’m still at school, and they’re pretty decent.

Black British, but I have a Jamaican background.

Advice, tags and anything to do with clothes.

I used to collect teeth, but they don’t fall out anymore (thank the Lord) so… nothing.

Honest, inquisitive and sociable.
#23. If you were a rapper what would your rapper name be?
Juicy J, but there is already an artist called that, so it’s a bit sticky…

My groupchat with my best friends! (love y’all x)
#25. What is on the top of your wish list right now?
To absolutely smash my GCSE’s!

*googles what this means* I’m not a Harry Potter fan, sorry.

#28. What are you most grateful for this year?
Having my niece well and here with us. When she was 5 months old, she had to be rushed to hospital and then later the ICU in another town, as she was critically ill with diabetes – which we didn’t know that she had. So, I’m extremely grateful that she’s here with us today, and every time I see her – I feel like our family was blessed.
#29. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you this month?
It’s only the beginning, but since I’ve started yr 11, I’ve just been motivated to work as hard as I can – and be resilient.
#30. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you today?
I woke up alive and well.
#31. What is the best thing ever?
Being able to express your own thoughts and feelings – and being confident enough not to care what other people think.
#32. Favourite Season?
Summer – but only if you’re actively doing stuff, cos it’s pointless staying in.
#33. Favourite Holiday?
Torquay – it was a small holiday, but a really nice and memorable experience.
#34. What fictional character do you relate to the most?
#35. Do you like surprises?
Yes, but if someone is going to surprise me – DON’T tell me that you are, just shush otherwise I’ll get impatient, and you’ll get annoyed.
#36. What’s the biggest surprise you’ve ever had?
I unexpectedly got a lot of money from someone who means a lot to me. I’m still grateful until this day, cos they didn’t have to!
#37. What’s the surprise that made you cry?
When my niece popped out on the living room floor… I was really just trying to go to school that day!
#38. What’s the best surprise you’ve ever given someone?
This sounds crappy, but I don’t actually think I’ve ever given someone a BIG surprise.

Nope, I’m more of a baker 😉

Black Forest Gateaux!

Anything with bananas…

UGH… I refuse to choose.

Curry – it always makes me violently sick.

#46. It’s 4 am on a Saturday night, what would you eat?
Whatever crisps I could find in the cupboard, but if there was nothing – then myself back to sleep.
#47. If you could teach a college class what would it be called?
All The Reasons Why You Shouldn’t F With Me – all lessons on self-growth and recognising self-worth.
#48. Best animated film?
The Princess and the Frog!
#49. What has a guy (or girl) done or said to impress you?
The fact that I have to think about it, leads me to believe that it wasn’t that impressive.
#50. Best thing to do on a date?
Haven’t been on a date, but good food and good conversation would work perfectly.
#51. Worst thing to do on a date?
Be rude and disrespectful.
#52. What is the funniest pick up line a guy/girl could use on a girl/guy?
Pick up lines… they ain’t it! If they’re gonna be used, they should just be natural based on whatever is happening at the time.
#53. Best comic book character?
I don’t read comics…
#54. What are three things that are always in your purse?
Phone, lip balm and spray.
#55. Favourite drink?
Cherry Tango, Pink Lemonade, Water
#56. If you could play a historical character who would it be?
Based on what we’ve learnt at school, either William of Normandy when he was securing the kingdom (oof) or one of those scientists that influenced medical progress.
#57. Kittens or puppies?
Bunnies. The only animal that I’d willingly own.
#58. Favourite sushi roll?
I’ve never had sushi.
#59. What kind of lipstick do you use?
I’m more of a lip-gloss girl!
#60. What kind of foundation do you use?
I don’t wear foundation, but I occasionally use concealer from Avon in the shade ‘Deep’.
#61. Blow dry or air dry?
#62. Who is your fashion icon?
I just see pretty outfits on Instagram and hope that one day I can afford them, LOL.

Tiana from The Princess and the Frog – our hardworking queen!
#64. What are you doing tomorrow?
I wish I knew.
#65. Movie you laughed the hardest through?
Too many, anything with the Wayans brothers will make me laugh – without doubt.
#66. Movie that made you cry?
I don’t watch movies often, but I watched Love Alarm, a series on Netflix – that made me cry.
#67. If you could sing a duet with someone who would it be?
Kehlani, H.E.R, Bryson Tiller, PartyNextDoor – so many artists!
#68. If your life were a song what would the title be?
Me and my Capricorn and forever RBF self definitely deserves the ‘Are You Pressed, Are You Mad?’ song.

I don’t think I have one.
#71. Person you want to have coffee with?
My stomach can’t hack coffee, so – no coffee dates tyvm x
#72. What’s the country you wish to visit?
Dubai, it’s so beautiful.

Have a bubble bath, find a good show on Netflix to watch, turn off my phone and have a LONG nap.
